Hand Building Taster Class

Service Description

If you're considering joining one of our wheel throwing courses but want to give the wheel a spin before committing — this taster class is for you! You’ll begin by getting acquainted with the clay and learning the fundamental techniques: centering, opening, and pulling the walls to shape your vessel. With close individual guidance, you’ll create 1–2 pieces — perhaps a small bowl, cup, or petite vase — and enjoy the satisfying experience of forming them on the wheel, even as a complete beginner. If you loved the experience and want to continue working on your pieces and developing in the art of wheel throwing, you will be able to enroll in one of our courses, with afternoon or morning sessions to choose from. • 3-hour class • All materials included • Ages 15+
